Guacamole Garden
Told you I had good news! The two avocado stones I started growing in beerglasses a couple of months back have finally got roots AND shoots now, so I've planted them in pots and hopefully in ten years time I will be reaping the fruits of my labour. I can wait that long.
Have a look at the piccies! I've decided to name them Alonso and Armando. I'll let you know how they get on.

Nice work, Vix! I have a friend who has a problem with avocado nuts growing non-stop from his compost pile. He even has a 2m tall tree in his den, which came from his compost pile! Beautiful, broad leaves - a great shade plant for the den.
Those babies should take off in no time.
